Adam is Upset!

Adam never liked the story problems in math and science classes. He was never really good at figuring them out. So, it's odd that he just realized today that his entire post baccalaureate career has been one story problem right after the other. His job-- solve story problems; that is what he does for a living. For a few minutes he was really depressed at this notion. Then, he thought a little more about it, and discovered that life is just like math and science classes. Yes, the length and breadth of his combined higher brain activity is engaged in solving one galactic sized story problem. The good news is, so is all your brain activity, too.

Wait, that sounds just like Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. We are all engaged in formulating the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything for which the answer we already know is 42. So, the purpose of life is not to answer story problems; though, this is important-- it is to help write the story problem that will yield the answer we already know.

Adam feels so much better.

The Earth can explode now, all is well.
